Le village de Chanzeaux surplombe la vallée de l'Hyrôme sur la bordure orientale du Massif armoricain, entre le pays des Mauges - caractérisé par des couvertures en tuile et l'activité d'élevage - et le pays du Layon - situé dans le Bassin parisien et qui se distingue par l'ardoise et la culture de la vigne.

Chanzeaux overhangs the Hyrome's valley, on the oriental board of the armorican massif, between the Mauges shire - tile roofs, breeding - and the Layon shire, part of the parisian plain - slate roofs, wine growing.
