Thorvald and Harry accidentally stumbled upon yet
another place with a view in Sollentuna. This site is on the border
of the new nature preservation area of Törnskogen, a lovely forest with many different
areas and a long history covered in a book by Naturskyddsföreningen. Törnskogen hides many
caches, including
Close to this site, Vägverket is building the new highway
named Norrortsleden, stretching from the E4 highway in
Häggvik, below the cache A view from
a tank and further on to the E18 highway in Täby. The
cache is placed in what used to be a beautiful forest (with a lot
of blueberries), in a place that could be a lovely flat for a
family of wolves. On the top of their building, you have an
interesting view of the new highway and the tunnel opening (the
tunnel opened on June 24th, 2008). A good place for a picnick!
- "Did you see the nice lake here? Time for a swim,
Harry!"
- "Yes, let's clean ourselves up. But why does it have such a
strange name, 'Snuggan', Thorvald?"
- "Who knows, who knows? But, what's in a name after all?,
Harry"
- "Indeed, Thorvald. Last man in the water is a
coward!"
