interested in finding out about geocoins, join us for a funfilled
day, lots of geocoins and caching

Activities:
Bring your geocoins to share with others. There will also be a free
drawing for door prizes. This event is open to everyone. So even if
you don't collect geocoins, come and spend the afternoon hanging
out and sharing stories with other area cachers. It's an easy
smiley. Hope to see you there!
Directions:
Enter the park from the Boonton side (McCaffrey Lane). The Denville
entrance has a gate which they have been keeping closed which does
not allow you to drive up to the Pavillion (you can park and walk
the 1/4 to 1/2 mile to it though).
From Interstate 287
Take Exit 43 for Intervale Road (Mountain Lakes). At the end of the
ramp turn LEFT and cross over I-287 to the traffic light. Turn
RIGHT at the light onto Fanny Road. Proceed straight to the second
stop sign. Turn RIGHT onto West Main Street. Bear LEFT at the "Y"
onto Powerville Road. Continue until the first road on the left,
McCaffrey Lane. Turn LEFT. A sign for Tourne Park marks the
entrance.
From Interstate 80
Take the Denville Exit 38. Follow Route 46 EAST through Denville to
Mountain Lakes. Turn RIGHT onto the Boulevard through Mountain
Lakes. Bear LEFT onto Powerville Road. Take the first LEFT,
McCaffrey Lane, the access road to the park. Or just hook up with
287 going North and follow the directions above.
Food We will be providing a picnic lunch of hotdogs, chips,
drinks and other goodies, but feel free to bring extra snacks for
the group
