Stonehenge and the planetarium Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Simdel: Checked today. Cache muggled. Archived. Sorry to the travelbug owner. I think I will switch to members only caches in future as Dark Energy has had lots of success that way and with a higher than normal rate of travel bug and geocoin thefts, it makes perfect sense.

Geocache Description:

Located opposite a mini copy of Stonehenge, close to the Kuala Lumpur planetarium and national museum.

This is a popular spot for visitors, especially those with children as the planetarium fascinates both kids and adults and the sudden sighting of 'Stonehenge' is quite a surprise. Also present alongside Stonehenge, is a model of the Jantar Mantar, the original of which can be found in New Delhi.

The planetarium serves as both a museum and a domed cinema and offers regular mini films related to the cosmos and planets in both English and Bahasa Melayu. It is positioned on a small hill, up a longish set of steps from the excellent national museum (also well worth a visit).

The cache is a plastic container opposite the model of Stonehenge. Please secure and reconceal well as the monkeys in this area are anything but shy.
