Zámek Slavkov u Brna - Austerlitz

Slavkovský barokní zámek, postavený dle návrhu italského architekta Domenica Martinelliho.Slechtický rod Kounicu, který zámek vlastnil ,se významnou merou podílel na utvarení zahranicní politiky Rakouska.
Pred Slavkovskou bitvou pobýval na zámku rusky car Alexandr I a rakouský cisar Frantisek I, po bitve si jej za docasné sídlo zvolil francouský cisar Napoleon.V historickém sále bylo 6.prosince podepsáno primerí mezi Francií a Rakouskem. Mírová smlouva byla potom uzavrena 26 prosince 1805.
Soucastí zámeckého areálu je 15 hektarová zahrada cástecne obnovená ve stylu francouzských barokních zahrad. Na zahrade jsou 4 velké bazény s vodotrysky 47 plastik, vetsinou postav z antických báji od italského sochare Giovanni Gulianiho a rakouského sochare Ignáce Lengelachera z první poloviny 18 .stol.
Rostou zde cetné vzácné stromy.

EN: We invite you to walk about beatiful castle gardens in Austerlitz.There´s no need to visit them, as same as visit of castle, to find a cache, because a cache is located out of park. The baroque castle was built by an Italian architect Domenic Martinelli.
The aristokratic kin of Kounic who owned the castle, partaked to formed a formation of an foreign politics of the Austria largely. A Russian czar Alexandr I. and an Austrian emperor František I. stayed in the castle before the Battle of Slavkov. After the battle, the castle become a temporary domicile of the French emperor Napoleon. An armistice between France and Austria was signed in a historical hall of the Slavkov castle on the 6th December. On the 26th December 1805 there was concluded the peace contract.
The castle garden, which occupies 15 kectares, is the part of the castle area. It was particularly restored in French baroque gardens style. In the garden there are 4 big fountains and 47 sculptures from Italian sculptor Giovanni Guliani and Austrian sculptor Ignac Lengelacher from the 1st half of the 18th century. They mostly represent persons from an ancient myths. You can find there many rare species of trees.
