This cache is located in Evans Notch on Route 113. Please note that the Maine DOT closes this road by November 30 annually, and re-opens it in mid-May, conditions permitting.
The cache is located near an overlook/picnic area that has great scenic views of the Cold River Valley. From this area, you will have nice views of South Baldface, Baldface Knob, Eastman Mountain, Kearsarge North, Slope Mountain, Mount Shaw, Hurricane Mountain, Black Cap Mountain and Major Mountain. Enjoy!
