Kätkö sijaitsee Tampereen Särkijärven Valkamassa, lähellä Palokallion asuinaluetta.
Alueella toimii kaupungin veneranta, josta voi vuokrata omalle soutuveneelleen paikan.
Järven itäpäässä häämöttää Hervannan rakennuksia ja vastarannalla voit nähdä pieniä
kesämökkejä. Mökkien asukkaat kulkevat usein tästä rannalta mökeilleen veneillä,
sillä useimpiin mökkeihin ei pääse teitä pitkin.
Alueella on myös ihan kohtuullinen ranta uimiseen, vaikka alueella ei ole virallista
uimarantaa.

The cache is hidden to the Valkama, next to the lake of Särkijärvi. This peacufull
area can be found next to the Palokallio residential area. Here you can bring your
own boat if you hire place for it from town of Tampere. Summer house owners in opposite
coast usually goes from here to their summer houses with boat, because of there is no
roads to the their summer houses.
you can also find reasonable beach from here for swimming even it's not an official
swimming beach.
