El-fuglen
Midt i Toustrup stationsby ligger tårnet El-fuglen – i dag et vartegn og samlingspunkt for lokale aktiviteter af social og kulturel karakter. El-fuglen er bevaret med de to spænd, som en ”skulptur i landskabet”, og skal stå til minde om en svunden tid. Ud over selve tårnet er der etableret en rasteplads hvor alle er velkomne til et lille hvil, nyde madkurven eller bare nyde udsigten.
The Power Bird
The tower, called the power bird, is located in the middle of the market town Toustrup. Today, it is a landmark and a meeting place for local social and cultural activities. The power bird is preserved with its two spans as a “sculpture in the landscape” and it shall remain in remembrance of a bygone era. Additional to the tower, a lay-by has been established so that anyone can take a rest, have a picnic or simply enjoy the view.
