What's a GHAGAFAP Anyway?
It's a picnic for Geocachers.  There'll be caches to hunt, travel bugs to trade, games to play, food, drinks, lots of Geocaching conversation, and prizes galore!

Bring your families, your friends, and your geo-dogs too.  And don't forget your GPS gear!

The event is open to anybody...seasoned geocacher or newbie!    We're hoping to draw folks from near and far!

GHAGAFAP has truly become a National and International event.  We had folks from across Canada, as well as visitors from many US states, and a traveller or two from Germany!

Camping! Camping! Camping! Camping! Camping! Camping!
GHAGAFAP III had a handful of campers, and they had a great time!
GHAGAFAP IV had somewhere around 50 campers.  What a blast!
GHAGAFAP V had over a hundred!  Awesome!!!
This year, we want everybody to camp!   You won't regret it!   Even if you are an "unseasoned" camper.

** CAMPING INFO **
The group camping can hold approximately 75 tents although after looking at it, we WILL be VERY cosy! We will try to accommodate everyone but it will be first come first served and we ask that you try to fit in as neatly as possible. NO CARS will be permitted to remain in the group camping area.  Once you have unloaded, you'll be asked to move your vehicle to the overflow parking near the site.  If you arrive and there isn't room to drive in, you'll have to hoof it!  Don't worry...it's not far.

NO trailers will be permitted in the group camping area.  If you are bringing a trailer you'll need to book a site. There are no reservations taken at this time of year but there should not be any problems getting a site near the group camp. They are aware of the size of our group and are willing to help out.

To clear up confusion from prior years - GHAGAFAP is from 9am to 5pm on Saturday. Any activities outside those times are taken on by individuals who volunteer to show movies, run night caches, feed us etc. The only meal outside of Saturday noon right now is the Annual Button Breakfast which will take place on Sunday morning in Aspen Cove Group Camp. We've had others volunteer a group dinner for Saturday in the past but no one has stepped forward so far this year. We will have a big drum BBQ delivered to the campsite for anyone to use if they wish.

Loads of After Hours FUN!

Rumour has it that another awesome Night Cache is in the works!

As we did last year, we have asked our own Algonquin Bound to provide some campfire entertainment...he has once again graciously accepted!  AB's audience was enraptured last year, and I'm sure it will be the same again this tim!

And again, like last year, Logger will be doing his best to provide some night-time film fare for the kids!  Two thumbs up!

And what would GHAGAFAP Camping be without the astounding Laser and Lights Show!  Can't wait to see what will light up the night sky this year!
