Geocache Description:

This site is reached after a fantastic beach walk. If you are driving you can park near the houses at one end of the bay. You walk towards the Balranald nature reserve, but stick to the shore. http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/b/balranald/work.asp A?C??

The Banranald nature reserve comprises of 658 ha of rocky headland, islands, sandy bays, grasslands, inland lochs, machair and fen. These habitats support internationally important populations of several birds, notably the corncrake. They also protect some important plant species and a variety of other wildlife, including grey seals and great yellow bumblebees.
