Geocache Description:

Cache is located approx. 3 miles up a road/trail after parking your vehicle. Best approach is off Highway 20. Turn onto Hammonton-Smartville Road...then onto Smartville road. After a curvy ride you will come to Waldo road...turn onto Waldo road...the rest is up to you. Park your car...you can't go any further...cross an old wooden bridge on foot. Bring a map...study your approach. community!

30 Apr 2019 - Thank you to all who have kept my cache going by replacing the container or renewing the log book. I have moved around several times - hope to get back during a visit to hike in the area and inspect the cache. Thank you to this wonderful community! If I were the object I planted the cache under, I would describe myself in the following manner: "I am a skeleton of my former self...I have been broken off at the knees. The rest of me lies at my feet where this guys cache is located. I am old and gray, but can still stand. The great thing about my location is that every person looks up to me here."
Wear long pants or gaiters to avoid getting grass and weed seeds in your socks. Watch out for poison oak. There is none directly around the cache...but watch out. Watch your footing... a little tricky near the cache. Check for snakes by using a stick to beat areas you want to search before walking off trail and sticking hands around rocks, grass, and logs...be extremely careful in this respect. Bring water...a must. I hope you enjoy the scenery.

It is a plastic container hidden under grass. It contains a logbook and pen...currency from United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Spain...A tape of Vivaldi Concertos for Flute and Oboe...waterproof neck pouch...hand sanitizer and a firstaid book for backpackers. Once you find it, move to a different spot to look through the box...people may happen upon you while you look through it at it's hiding spot. Return it when done after looking around to make sure the coast is clear. If you still can't find it, the clue below will really, really help. Watch for poison oak and don't stick hands blindly into likely spots. Have fun!!!
