Located in the Tararua Ranges, this stash can be approached from two different directions. Both require that you have good fitness and take about 4 to 5 hours each way. Better to spend the night at the nearby hut and enjoy the sunrise over the river flats.
Left a camera for you to take a pic. We'll ret same time next year and will have some shots to put up on the web. The location is visible from the hut where you stay. 3o/11/2001 have uplifted camera, not many pics, shall scan and get them up soonest. will be dropping a new camera in next month. UPDATE: 06-03-2018 17 years ago today, my boy Jay took his own life so I have kinda been distracted from caching. Today I got the latest update and it reminded me to check back on this cache. I am sure that he, like me, feels contentment in that so many have enjoyed the adventure we ceated and hopefully many more in the futer. He was the main instigator for us to place it originally.
