Geocache Description:

Where's George's dollar bill has gone walkabout

Don't forget yer boots.. :O)

I was going to archive this but decided to make it virtual. You are standing on an old Roman road, "The Street". it was proberbly used as a drove road also. 500 meters North is where it crosses into Scotland and few people realise that the Romans did get into Scotland. Enjoy the view south to the Simonside hills and beyond.

To log a find on this virtual, you must visit the location and message me what it says on the sign post here.

I keep getting requests as to why Georges Kidney Stone! Originally it was a 35mm Film container with a George Washington dollar bill that you could log on line. The container was hidden by the gate post under a kidney shaped stone, hence the name. Eventually the cache went walk about, instead of killing it off I decided to change it to a virtual as it was too good a location to loose.
