[ITALIANO] Al IV Miglio della Via Appia Antica la
strada si presenta come era 2000 anni fa. Sul pavimento in lastre
di pietra sono visibili i segni dei carri dei romani, lungo i bordi
due file di Cipressi e Pini ed ogni tanto un mausoleo, una statua
interrompono la “monotonia” di questo lungo rettilineo che solca la
campagna romana. Il Waypoint INIZIO vi porta direttamente a questo
punto dell’Appia Antica ancora intatto. Durante la settimana potete
raggiungere questo luogo anche in macchina e parcheggiare poco
prima per proseguire poi a piedi o in bicicletta. Nei giorni
festivi invece tutta l’area del Parco Regionale dell’Appia Antica è
chiusa al traffico automobilistico dalle ore 9,00 alle ore 18,00.
In quel caso per giungere nelle vicinanze potete prendere il Bus
660 che parte dalla fermata Metro Colli Albani ed arriva al
Waypoint CECILIA METELLA, per gli orari potete fare riferimento al
sito ATAC. Da
qui vi potete dirigere verso il cache. Lungo la strada incontrerete
l’Area Archeologica “Capo di Bove” (Waypoint CAPO DI BOVE) con
orari di apertura: dal Lunedì al Sabato 10,00 – 16.00, Domenica
10.00 – 18.00 (ingresso gratuito). Il cache è una scatola tipo
Tupperware Small dove potete inserire GC e TB che non abbiano
“Hitchhiker” troppo grossi. PORTATEVI UN PO’ DI
ACQUA.

to the cache. Along the road you will meet the Archaeological area
"Capo di Bove" (Waypoint CAPO DI BOVE) with opening schedules: from
Monday to Saturday 10.00 AM - 4.00 PM, in Sunday 10.00 AM - 6.00 PM
(free entrance). The cache is a box type Tupperware Small where you
can insert GC and TB that don't have "Hitchhiker" too much big.
