TrailMix 9 PART 1 is located in the Hoosier National Forest at Hemlock Cliffs. This area is best reached off of Highway 37. There is signage to the cliffs.
POPTARTS. Need I say more. Let's meet and talk cachin' and maybe hike a little. Notice that the name of this TrailMix says Part 1. There will be 2 Trailmixes today.
TRAILMIX 9 PART 1
WHERE - Hemlock Cliffs
When - June 30, 2007
Time - 10:00 EDT
The Hemlock Cliffs Trail is listed at 1.2 Miles. With a few side trips will will add about .5 to that total. The trail winds in and out of cliffs and canyons and is a sight to behold. There are 8 caches here and no new ones will be placed. I would rate the trail a 2-1/2 with a step climb up stairs at the end. There are 2 caches with steep climbs but you can choose to skip those.
TrailMix 9 PART 2 will be at Wyandotte Lake of Highway 62. This event will start at 2:00PM and have a seperate cache page. This should give everyone time to cache in between the two locations and grab a bite to eat.
REMEMBER TO BRING WATER, BUG SPRAY, SNACKS IF YOU WANT AND DEFINTELY DON'T FORGET YOU CAMERA.
