The town of Zemen is situated 70 km away from Sofia.The average height of the village is some 600m above sea level. Therefore the Zemen mountain with its 1245m of heightrepresents a majestic view because of the closeness with the populated area. Many of the touristsgroundlessly dismiss this mountain since its low height. It is a part of Koniavsko-Milevska Mountain Range. It is surrounded by the rivers of Struma,Treklianska, Dragovishtitza, Uineshtitza and Sushitza. It is 19km in length and 7km in width
