Hollicombe Park - Torbay Landmarks No.2


What is now a pleasant park between Paignton & Torquay was once a gasworks, with its own sidings off the railway line that runs between the park and Hollicombe Beach (Of course, in my youth, Hollicombe Beach was always referred to as "Gasworks Beach"). Don't believe it was a gasworks - take another look at the duck pond! What might it have been in a previous existence?This cache may test your muggle avoidance technique - especially if the weather is fine and the park is busy. A black thin tube micro hidden at the edge of the grass.
