Annandale Veterans Memorial Park is one of the nicer tributes to those who have served our country making it the great place it is to live.
Included in the park is a nice paved walking path that winds around gardens and a pond with a fountain. The center piece are some nice granite stones etched with the different branches of the military standing guard in front of our flags.
Lots of traffic along the highway here so try and be as stealth as possible. There is no need to get off the path or do any digging or going in the gardens or pond to find this cache. Please respect every aspect of this park. Thanks, and many thanks to all the Veterans who served our country!
Special note to seekers of this cache, it is located within the park property no where near the railroad tracks. Staying on approved city sidewalks and paved paths are all that is needed to do to score this find. By parking in the provided parking lot no crossing of the tracks is needed.
