This is the first in a series of caches that link some of the fantastical places from the “Doctor Who” series with the fantastic reality of Wales.
We have a 'blue box' situation here, the cache seems to phase in and out according to the logs. So after two unsuccessful attempts for me to even find it, I've regenerated the cache in the same position that I originally set it. There could therefore be two boxes in the bushes, so let me know if you find the original or the regeneration - or should that be the Christopher Eccleston or the David Tennant?
Parking £2.50 for 2 hours, £5 all day, free to National Trust Members. Refreshments and toilets available.
In the 2006 series with David Tennant and Billie Piper this episode saw them dropping in on New Earth, to visit New New York, or what the Docter revealed to actually be “New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York”, but that’s just being pedantic. But it was actually here on Gower that where Rose got her fist glimpse of that far off city and its cat peopled hospital.
The walk is easy, though the wind as well as the view can take your breath away. You're looking for a plastic box in a cammo bag.
Enjoy the view, but don’t get sick, unless, that is, you have a very talented cat.
As you are in the area and if you have the time why not try, " Mew view" "All fall Down" "Who was here 1:, New, New Cache" "Take Off" "Rippy's Rhossili Rest" and "Radar Love"
