Nejvyšší vrchol střední části Českého lesa. Vystupuje z lesů při česko-bavorské hranici 6 km severozápadně od Staré knížecí huti nebo 2.5km jihovýchodně od Silberhutte.
Na vrcholu Havranu se nachází zcela zrekonstruovaná vyhlídková věž, která nahradila původní vojenskou rozhlednu určenou ke střežení bývalé železné opony vybudované na hranici mezi Československem a Německem komunisty. Původní věž byla opuštěna československou armádou po roce 1989 a postupně zcela chátrala. Geocache byla založena v roce 2007, kdy bylo možné dosáhnout vrcholu chátrající věže pouze na vlastní nebezpečí. V roce 2013 až 2014 provedl KLUB VOJENSKÉ HISTORIE A SPORTU TACHOV, O.S. s využitím dotace Evropské unie a soukromých dárců kompletní modernizaci celé věže na nádhernou turistickou věž, ze které je nádherný výhled na celé okolí do České Republiky a do Německa. Věž je po celý rok volně přístupná. U paty věže je vybudované rovněž kryté sezení, které je rovněž možné využít pro nouzové přenocování.
Původní panelová cesta, která byla původně jedinou spojnicí s civilizací, byla v nedávné době doplněna o nové značené přístupové trasy vedoucí z české i německé strany. Nejkratší cesta vede po značené turistické značce z německého Silberhutte (2.5km). Z české strany lze vrcholu dosáhnout nejlépe ze Staré Knížecí Hutě (6,5km) po červené a následně modré značce. Přístup je rovněž možný od Zlatého potoka, kde je o sobotách otevřen bufet.
Geocache je umístěna mimo oplocený areál rozhledny.

The highest peak of middle part of Ceský les. It raises from the woods nearby Czech-Bavarian border 6 km nortwest from Strará knížecí huť or 2.5 km southeast from Silberhutte.
On top of Havran there is completely renovated observation tower, which replaced the original military tower designed to watch the former Iron Curtain, built by the communists on the border between Germany and former Czechoslovakia. The original tower was abandoned by the Czechoslovak army after 1989 and wasted away step by step. Geocache was founded in 2007, when it was possible to reach the top of the tower only with high risk of serious injury. Military-historical club TACHOV with the use of European Union and private donations provided complete modernization of the tower to the wonderful tourist tower during 2013-2014. The tower offers magnificent view to the entire neighborhood on the Czech and German border side. The tower is freely accessible all year. At the foot of the tower there is roofed shelter, which also can be used for emergency overnight stays.
New marked access routes leading from the Czech and German sides was recently added to the concrete road originally only link to civilization. The shortest path leads along the marked trail from the German Silberhütte (2.5km). Access is also possible from Golden Creek, where the small buffet is open on Saturdays.
Geocache is located outside the fenced tower area.
