Walking back from the beach to Kamakura Station Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

ann-san: This was our first hide so we have a good excuse for it not being in a great location, etc.
Anyway, with so many new ones at temples, etc. I'm going to archive this one since it's just "stale"!
I was actually walking around Kamakura yesterday looking for all juttoku's hides and checked on a few of mine along the way BUT I dislike this one so much I didn't even bother to stop and check. I think this one is dead!

Geocache Description:

This cache is "barely off-road". The approach is flat...easy...and on the way from or to the beach!...Kamakura is reputed to be some of the highest-priced real estate in the area so we felt lucky to find the "free space" to hide this cache. Coins inside!

The cache is a burp-free small tupperware with a cute log book and full-size pen. It contains glimmering neo-coin assortment. No tools, lifting or heavy equipment required to access this cache.

TRAIN INFO: (visit link)
This cache is about a mile's walk from the Kamakura (JR Yokosuka Line) train station. (There is a Starbucks and bike rental place at the train station. The bikes/$15 daily, can be a great way to see the far apart sites of Kamakura, especially if heading to the beach.) Kamakura is a premier tourist destination and a previous capitol of Japan so it is rich with temples, history and national treasures.
