Stavba byla
puvodne vodárenskou veží, kde podzemní a
nadzemní nádrže mely dohromady 500 metru
krychlových objemu.
Víceúcelová stavba se zemním a
vežovým vodovodem, hasicskou zbrojnicí a
vyhlídkovou veží byla postavena v letech 1908-09
v návaznosti na zrízení obecního
vodovodu na Hladnove.
Secesní budova je vysoká 16 metru a má tvar
pravidelného osmiúhelníku, který
doplnuje ctyrboká vež. Puvodne mela drevenou
nástavbu se dvema vyhlídkovými prostory,
nižším proskleným a
vyšším s otevreným ochozem. Nad nimi
byla ješte ozdobná vížka.
Ve 20. letech uzavrena pro rekonstrukci schodište. V
té dobe byla chátrající drevená
cást nahrazena zdenou nástavbou.
Od 10.5. 1925 znovu otevrena a
zprístupnena. Další opravy
probehly v letech 1938 a 1947.
1970-1973 byla vodárna prestavena na vyhlídkovou
restauraci Panorama. Od 90. let je objekt
uzavren a zapocaly opravy, které nebyly dosud
dokonceny. Krome toho, že na lešení pribyly
antény, se nic nezmenilo. Stavba je v cím
dál chatrnejším stavu, presto (nebo
práve proto?), že je Kulturní památkou.
Pikantní je, že v budove sídlí
firma, která má v predmetu
podnikání krome telekomunikacních služeb
také realitní cinnost a správu a
údržbu nemovitostí :-)

The
building was originally a water tower with underground and
aboveground tanks whose combined volume was 500 cubic
meters.
The
multi-purpose structure with ground and tower water pipes, fire
station and observation tower was built in 1908-09, following the
establishment of municipal water line in Hladnov. The secession
building is 16 meters tall and has a shape of a regular octagon,
which is supplemented with a square tower. Originally, there was a
wooden extension with two observation areas, the lower one with
glass and the upper one with an open gallery. Above them was a
decorative turret. It was closed in 20s for stairway
reconstruction. At that time, the dilapidated wooden part was
replaced with a masonry extension.
Re-opened
and made accessible on May 10, 1925. More repairs followed
in 1938 and 1947.
1970-1973 the waterworks were rebuilt to make a scenic restaurant
Panorama. The structure has been closed from 90s; repairs started
that have not been finished. Beside aerials added to the
scaffolding, nothing has changed. The structure keeps dilapidating,
despite (or just because?) of being a historic
landmark. It is
piquant that there is a company located in the building whose areas
of business are, beside telecommunication services, also real
estate sales and management and maintenance of real estate
:-)
