Davenport House is an impressive 18th century country mansion by the architect Francis Smith of Warwick. There is also a public house, The Dog Inn and Davenport Arms, within 50yds. of the alternative parking location for those cachers requiring food or liquid refreshment.
From the suggested parking take the well marked public footpath. The path will take you across a field, two stiles and up a hill. The cache itself is a small ‘Klip-lok’ type container in a camo bag hidden not far from the path.
There's room for small swaps, TB’s and geocoins. There are certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finders.
