Geocache Description:

The River Worfe is a meandering little river leading, eventually, into the River Severn. The cache is placed near the village of Worfield. It will require quite a steep, but short climb to the top of a hill where you will be rewarded with views of the Worfe valley and nearby Davenport House.

Davenport House is an impressive 18th century country mansion by the architect Francis Smith of Warwick. There is also a public house, The Dog Inn and Davenport Arms, within 50yds. of the alternative parking location for those cachers requiring food or liquid refreshment.

From the suggested parking take the well marked public footpath. The path will take you across a field, two stiles and up a hill. The cache itself is a small ‘Klip-lok’ type container in a camo bag hidden not far from the path.

There's room for small swaps, TB’s and geocoins. There are certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd finders.

Parking for two cars can be found at: N52º 33.387 W002º 21.497

Alternative parking for several cars: N52º 33.448 W002º 21.442
