Standard Monkey Business #2 (aka Giant's ladder)



Jättiläisen tikkaat ovat valmiina mutta meille pienille ihmisille ylös kipuaminen on haastavaa. Jos olet alle 170cm tai et omaa reippaasti käsivoimia, niin tarvitset todennäköisesti apuvälineitä

Turvavarusteet suositeltavia, mutta niiden hyödyntäminen voi vaatia kekseliäisyyttä.

Toimistoaikaan kiipeily kiinnittää todennäköisesti aivan liikaa huomiota. Muina aikoina paikka on suhteellisen rauhallinen. Suoritus ei tule pimeällä yhtään vaikeammaksi joten ilta/yöaika on suositeltavin. Tuuli ei jättiläisen tikkaita heiluttele yhtään, mutta sade/lumi/jää voi tehdä homman entistä haastavammaksi.

Jos Helsinki-Vantaan lentoaseman sivukiitotietä käytetään kiipeilysi aikana, on yli lentävän koneen efekti aika "hauska". Jos tuulee kovaa kaakosta tai luoteesta, niin silloin todennäköisyys bongata yli menevä kone tässä kohtaa on suurempi.

Standard Monkey Business #2 (aka Giant's ladder)


The Giant's ladder is there already but to us small humans the climbing will be challenging. If you are under 170cm or do not posess strong arms, you might need some equipment.


Safety equipment recommended, but using them might need some inventiveness.

During office hours the climb will draw too much attention. At other times the place is reasonable quiet. It will not be so much harder to do it in the dark so night time is recommended. Wind will not sway the giant's ladders but rain/snow/ice might make the task more demanding.

If the side runway is in use at Helsinki Vantaa Airport during your climb, then the effect of the plane flying over you will be "interesting". If there is a hard wind from SE or NW, then the possibility that the side runaway is in use is much bigger.
