Geocache Description:

The Plymouth and Dartmoor railway opened in 1823, but did not get as far as Princetown until 1826. The terminus at this point was behind what is now The Railway Inn. It was built principally to serve the nearby granite quarries. The stretch between Princetown and Yelverton later became a branch line of the GWR, and ran until 1956.
At the southern end of the platform was a waiting room, it was a timber building on a concrete base, with two small windows. Sadly only the two kissing gates and steps that lead to the halt remain today.
There is a FTF prize of an LED keyring light for all you night cachers.

Cache is in a small clip lock box, situated at the top of the steps on left hand side going up.
