Kielotorni ("Convallaria Tower") is a 17 floor residential tower block in Tikkurila. With height of 55 meters (~180 feet) it is the highest residential building in Vantaa.
In the spring of 2003, the city council approved plans to build high-rise building in the center of Tikkurila. Construction of the building started in 2004 and was completed in December 2005. The building was designed by architect Timo Vormala of Gullichsen Vormala Arkkitehdit Oy and it was named after the adjacent road Kielotie.
The building has a total of 72 apartments and two elevators. The ground floor has only storage rooms and some technical rooms so that traffic noise impacts are minimized also in the lowest apartments. 17th floor has a common sauna department and sun terrace.
Kielotorni on 17-kerroksinen tornitalo Tikkurilassa. 55 metrin korkeudellaan se on Vantaan korkein asuinrakennus.
Keväällä 2003 Vantaan kaupunginvaltuusto hyväksyi suunnitelman tornitalon rakentamisesta Tikkurilaan. Kielotornin rakennustyöt alkoivat 2004 ja valmistuivat joulukuussa 2005. Rakennuksen suunnitteli arkkitehti Timo Vormala Gullichsen Vormala Arkkitehdit Oy:stä. Rakennus nimettiin viereisen Kielotien mukaan.
Rakennuksessa on yhteensä 72 asuntoa ja kaksi hissiä. Alin kerros on varattu varastoille ja teknisille tiloille, niin ettei liikenteen melu kantaudu häiritsevästi alimpiinkaan asuntoihin. 17. kerroksessa on asukkaiden yhteiskäytössä oleva saunaosasto ja aurinkoterassi.
