Sur les traces de l'épicéa serpent (arbre remarquable), et non loin du rocher du Bichstein. Pendant la guerre de 30 ans (1618-1648)la population protestante de Soultzeren se réfugiait dans les bois et célébrait ses cultes "interdits" au rocher du Bichstein.
