Hidden above the path on Loughrigg Terrace with commanding views of Rydal and Grasmere
The cache was originally a micro found at a cache bash held at Lunga House on the Craignish Peninsular in Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland (Feb '07). We decided to replace the slightly damaged micro with a small cache in 2008. The cache is now on its 5th log book! It is situated a little distance up the hillside from the path for an even better view of Grasmere and Rydal and also to minimise the risk of it getting muggled in this popular area. It is a bit of a bracken fest in the summer but we hope it is not too difficult to find as our intention is that you should spend most of your time enjoying the view and not scratting about looking for a small tupperware box! Hope you enjoy it.
