ivans: Prozkoumali jsme celý dlouhý parapet a nic. Keška opět zmizela.

Odchází tedy na zasloužený odpočinek. Byla v provozu 16 let. Za tu dobu ji našlo 1434 kačerů a kačerek a věříme, že mnohé potěšila. Každopádně jsme rádi, že trochu přispěla k bowlingové osvětě, i když my sami se mu už pár let nevěnujeme.

A jsme zvědavi, jaká keška ji nahradí ;)

Rádi hrajeme bowling a pokud jste to zatím nezkusili, chtěli bychom vás nalákat ke hře. A tak na výchozích souřadnicích nehledejte kešku, ale bowlingovou hernu. Finálka pak je poblíž jiné herny (viz referenční bod).
V logu uvítáme fotky z vaší hry a uvedení osobního rekordu.

Trocha historie
Ve světě se bowling hraje více než 100 let. Jeho kořeny jsou v USA, kde tehdejší němečtí přistěhovalci hráli kuželky o velké sázky a mnozí z hráčů přišli o celý majetek. Americké úřady proto tento hazard zakázaly. Vášniví hráči to ale nevzdali. Zvýšili počet kuželek, zvětšili kouli a navrtali do ní otvory pro prsty. Kuželky pak postavili místo do původního čtverce do trojúhelníku a nový sport byl na světě. A znovu se začalo hrát o peníze.

U nás začíná historie bowlingu v roce 1988, kdy byla v rámci výstavby tehdejšího „supermoderního“ hotelu Forum v Praze 4 na Pankráci otevřena naše historicky první bowlingová čtyřdráha. Skutečny rozvoj bowlingu u nás ale nastal až po roce 1989. Bowling byl zprvu vnímán jen jako rekreační doplněk restauračních a relaxačních center. Bowling jako sport je organizován pod ČSTV od roku 1997, kdy v rámci Českomoravského kuželkářského svazu byla zřízena sekce bowlingu. Ve stejném roce také proběhlo první mistrovství republiky. Později vznikla samostatná Česká bowlingová asociace, v době publikování listingu měla zhruba 1400 registrovaných členů. Bowling je sport, ale samozřejmě také skvělá zábava pro jednotlivce i skupiny všech věkových kategorií, protože bowling může hrát každý, kdo již nebo ještě unese kouli. A little bit of history
Bowling has been played for more than 100 years in the world. It originated in the USA, where the that time German immigrants used to play pins with betting lots of money and plenty of them lost their whole property. For that reason the American authorities banned playing pins. But eager players didn’t give up. They increased a count of pins, enlarged the ball and drilled holes for fingers. They also changed the position of pins and a new sport appeared. And gambling started again.

The bowling history in our country starts in 1988 when the first 4alley-bowling hall was opened within the framework of the building of hotel Forum in Pankrac Prague 4, which was a "super modern" hotel in that time. But the real expansion of bowling here started after 1989. Bowling was initially considered only as a recreational accessory of various restaurants and relax centers. Bowling as a sport has been organized in CSTV since 1997 when the bowling section was established within the frame of the Czech-Moravian Skittles Union. The first republic bowling championship took place in the same year. The Czech Bowling Association started later on and about 1400 players have been registered so far. Bowling is a sport, but of course also great entertainment for both individuals and groups of all age categories, because everybody who is already or still able to carry a ball can play bowling.
