Geocache Description:

This is a multistage cache with several virtual caches, and involves solving problems, stated and unstated, as you progress to the final goal. First finder is treated to a pretty good prize?

The listed coordinates lead you to a small natural area within a medium sized city. Should you come during the daytime on a warm sunny day, you may be rewarded by impressive views of the native creatures. At the coordinates, you will find yourself inside a man-made geometric figure. Count the cracks around. If faced with uncertainties, choose the path which gives the lowest results. You may want to find the small bench near the west side of the figure, and sit there as you ponder and solve this problem.

Knowing the cracks around, now calculate the cracks across. In order to do this, you will need a PI with at least six pieces in it (including place holder). You will also need to recall a little high school geometry. You may find a calculator helpful, but it shouldn't be necessary (IF you can handle long division, HE HE HE !!!). Fill in the table, make the substitutions, and you have the coordinates for the next stage.

Cracks Around = ABC
Cracks Across = DE.FGH

Stage #2
N 42 0A.2AE
W 93 3C.DHG

This area at times is heavily populated with more of the native creatures you may have been fortunate enough to spot during the first stage. As you ponder this stage, look for letter patterns that match number patterns.

18562 7862 Make the substitutions for the next stage.

Stage #3
N 42 0D.AEL
W 93 3E.TTE

Oddly enough, the native creatures of the realm seem to segregate themselves into separate bands based on gender. I wonder if they ever interact at all. This might make an interesting sociological study someday.

725123 684 77982

Stage #4
N 42 0B.CDP
W 93 3H.PLH

This location may be the key to solving the whole problem. Consider the date you find here.
yyy = date you found - the year of birth of Hieronymus Bosch.

xxx = (year of the death of Emperor Hirihito of Japan - date you found) x 2

Stage #5
N 42 01.xxx
W 93 39.yyy

Best approached from the east. Again, you may pass through a man-made geometric figure.
