"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is
no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power
derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical
aquatic ceremony", Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
There are several stories as to how Arthur came by Excalibur.
One has it that he received the sword from the Lady of the Lake.
Another, that he wrested it from a boulder. A third, and lesser
known version, is that Excalibur was a prize for finding all of the
Geocaches in Black Rock Forest in a single visit. The setting of
this cache should address all of these versions leaving you, the
visitor, to decide which is correct.
This cache is off one of the North-South trails in the vicinity
of the "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" and "Spy Rock" caches. There are
several ways to get here but starting at Reservoir Road and taking
a loop around the forest to visit the other caches in the area
would be the best way to see this lovely area.
Your quest is for a Lock n' Lock container about the same size
as 30 cal ammo can. Unless equipped with the Holy
Hand Grenade of Antioch, do take care not to antogonise the
Killer
Rabbit.
Please hide this cache as well as, if not better than, you find
it.
