Die SüdMährenWarte ist ein kleiner Aussichtsturm in den Weinbergen am Schatzberg nicht weit vom österreichisch-tschechischen Grenzübergang Kleinhaugsdorf-Hate. Eigentlich ist es ein Mahnmal erbaut im Andenken an die Vertreibung der deutschsprachigen Einwohner aus Südmähren (Region um Znaim) im Jahre 1945. Traurige Erinnerungen für beide Seiten, entstanden aus den schwierigen historischen Umständen.

Obwohl der Schatzberg nur auf 306m Seehöhe liegt und der Turm auch nicht sehr hoch ist, erlaubt die umliegende Landschaft trotzdem einen tollen Ausblick - speziell Richtung Norden (Süd Mähren). Was man bei guter Fernsicht sieht kann man in der Galerie sehen...

Der Cache ist sehr leicht zugänglich, man kann wenige Meter davon entfernt parken. Auch mit dem Fahrrad gut zu erreichen, allerdings sollte man dafür unbedingt die E59 vermeiden (zu viel Verkehr). Bei der Suche nach dem Cache sollten keine Schwierigkeiten auftreten, die Versteckmäglichkeiten sind doch sehr eingeschränkt. Bitte beim Verstecken auf die eventuell anwesenden Muggles achten und den Cache wieder so verstauen dass er nicht gleich zu sehen ist.

"SüdMährenWarte" je pomerne nenapadna rozhlednicka stojici mezi vinohrady na nevyraznem kopci Schatzberg (306 m.n.m), nedaleko hranicniho prechodu Hate-Kleinhaugsdorf. Rozhledna je zaroven horkym historickym pamatnikem - postavena byla jako pripominka povalecneho odsunu nemecky mluviciho obyvatelstva ze znojemskeho regionu v r. 1945. Brutalistni betonove stavbe vevodi emotivni socha matky s detmi a napis "Heimatrecht is Menschenrecht" - Pravo na vlast je lidske pravo, oboje otocene smerem do Ceske republiky.

Od tizivych vzpominek na minulost radeji obratme pohled do kraje. Prestoze Schatzberg neni nijak vyrazny vrchol a ani samotna rozhledna neni vysoka, diky charakteru okolni krajiny se tu otvira uzasny rozhled - jak nazev rozhledny napovida, zvlaste smerem na sever, na Jizni Moravu. Pri dobre viditelnosti muzete videt desitky kilometru daleko. (Viz tez prilozene obrazky).

Cache je velmi jednoducha a dobre dostupna - auto lze zaparkovat jen par metru od ukrytu, vyborna je i dostupnost na kole. V tom pripade ale doporucuji pouzit pro cestu z CR spis prechod Hnanice-Mitterretzbach a prijet pres Unterretzbach, protoze hlavni silnice E59 je velmi frekventovana a je nejlepsi se ji vyhnout. Kolem prochazi i nekolik znacenych cyklostezek.
Samotne hledani by nemelo pusobit zadne problemy, v danem miste je moznosti pro ukryt minimum. Pocinejte si prosim nenapadne, a pri ukladani cache zpet se ujistete, ze cache neni videt (tj. ze je dostatecne hluboko). Diky! Uzijte si vyhled i cely vylet!

"SüdMährenWarte" is a small look-out tower, standing between the vineyards at the Schatzberg Hill, not far from the Austrian-Czech border-crossing Kleinhaugsdorf-Hate. In fact, it is a historical monument - built in memory of the afterwar displacement of German speaking inhabitants from the Znojmo region of South Moravia (die Vertreibung) in 1945. Quite a bitter memory - for both sides, to be sure, as the historical circumstances were very complicated, to say the least.

Though Schatzberg is only 306 meters above the sea level and the tower isn't very tall either, the character of the surrounding landscape allows for an excellent view - especially to the north, towards South Moravia. At good visibility, you can see very far - just look at some of the pictures...

The cache is accessible very easily - you can park your car just a few meters away. Bicycle trip is a great idea as well - there are several biking routes coming by. (Avoid the main road E59 - it's too busy for a safe and pleasant cycling). You shouldn't encounter any difficulties when looking for the cache, as the possibilities for a hide-out are very limited. Please, use your stealth abilities when other people are around, and when hiding the cache back, make sure it is not visible! (Put it deep enough into the hide-out). Thank you.
