Geocache Description:

Parking is limited, pull into the shelter area to unload and then we will try to help you find a spot. We will be in Shelter 9 at Wildwood Park from 11-3 on Saturday, June 16, please join us for food and the ceremonial exchange of geobling

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: I was informed today that there is no smoking in the park and no alcohol allowed. The ranger will not even allow smoking in cars while in the park...they are serious. Let's keep them happy.

The Potlatch is a unique ceremony of the Kwakiutl people, it is a feast and gift ceremony. Please bring a side dish(electrical outlets are available for crock pots, etc.)plus something to drink. If you are in a trading mood, bring a coin, sig item, or travel bug to exchange. The Kwakiutl people demonstrated high status by giving more than they received at a Potlatch, maybe we can take a lesson.

There will be a special Potlatch Coin available for purchase at the event for attendees. We will give 10 coins away at random, in the spirit of Potlatch.
