ufabra: Auf einer kleinen Spazierrunde zwischen Venwegen und Hahn haben wir heute die Dose abgeholt.

Zum Abschluss können wir uns nicht verkneifen, doch mal ein Bild von der ersten Station zu veröffentlichen, mit der so viele Cacher ein Problem hatten [:D]. Es ist das Horn, das natürlich auf die Kuh hinweist, so wie bei den weiteren Stationen das Hufeisen für das Pferd stand oder der Bienenkorb für die Biene.

Geocache Description:

Eine ca. 7 km lange Runde über breite Wege mit teils schönem Fernblick, die auch für Kinderwagen und Rollstühle - mit Ausnahme der letzten paar Meter zum Cache - geeignet ist, wenn man denn genug Kraft für die etwa 80 Höhenmeter hat.

Zum Lösen der Aufgaben braucht ihr auf jeden Fall das Bild mit denTieren, von denen einige unterwegs den Wegpunkten zugeordnet werden müssen.

Um keine Unklarheiten beim Rechnen aufkommen zu lassen, noch schnell zwei Tipps:

Punktrechnung vor Strichrechnung nicht vergessen.
Ein- und zweistellige Rechenergebnisse sind mit führenden Nullen auf 3 Stellen aufzufüllen, bspw. 17 -> 017.

Jetzt geht's los: Parken könnt ihr am Venwegener Friedhof bei N 50° 42.808 E 006° 12.860. Alternativ fahrt ihr genauso bequem mit den AVV Buslinien 61, 67 und 68 bis zur Haltestelle "Venwegen / Kirche".

WP1: Direkt neben dem Parkplatz bei N 50° 42.809 E 006° 12.856 findet ihr den Hinweis auf das erste Tier. Hier geben wir euch noch den Tipp, dass dort nur ein kleiner Teil des gesuchten Tieres abgebildet ist. Sucht das Tier auf dem obigen Bild und notiert euch die Zahl neben dem Tier als "A".

Weiter geht's zu WP2 bei N 50° 42.(A*120+32) E 006° 12.(A*50+32). Wenn ihr euch hier ein bisschen umseht, findet ihr einen eindeutigen Hinweis auf eines der abgebildeten Tiere. "B" ist die zugehörige Nummer auf dem Bild und "C" ist die Zahl, die ihr vor Ort nicht übersehen könnt. Tipp: Tierhinweis und Zahl sind unmittelbar miteinander verbunden.

Bei N 50° 42.(B*(C-2)) E 006° 12.(C-A-2) liegt WP3, wo ihr eine ganze Menge quicklebendiger Tiere hören und sehen könnt. Aber es gibt dort auch noch - in Ton gebrannt - ein paar stumme Gesellen ähnlicher Gattung. "D" ist die Nummer des Tieres im Bild und "E" ist deren Anzahl vor Ort.
Dieser Wegpunkt wird demnächst umgebaut, da die hier wohnende Familie Hompesch leider ihr Klingelschild mit den 3 tönernen Gänsen abgehängt hat.

Inmitten eines pittoresken Figurenensembles findet ihr bei WP4 N 50° 42.(A*C*D+E*20+D) E 006° 11.(A*C*E+D*100) ein weiteres Tier, welches hier als Blumentopf dient. Auf dem Bild hat dieses Tier die Nummer "F".

Jetzt geht's bergauf. Am Wegrand bei WP5 N 50° 42.(E*E*F+A) E 006° 11.(E*E*F*F+C-8) wartet das Tier für "G" auf euch.

Bei WP6 N 50° 41.(A*F*F+C+(G+1)*D) E 006° 11.(A*A*(2*B+E)) angekommen könnt ihr kurz verschnaufen und das Tier suchen, das euch die Zahl "H" verrät.

Auf einem Schild bei WP7 N 50° 41.((H+3)*32+B) E 006° 12.(A*B-C-F) ist das Tier zum Buchstaben "I" erwähnt.

Einen Hinweis auf das letzte gesuchte Tier könnt ihr bei WP8 N 50° 42.(F*I+B*E-D) E 006° 12.((A+C)*I-G) entdecken. Wenn ihr das Tierchen identifiziert habt, kennt ihr auch "J".

So, jetzt ist es nicht mehr weit bis zum Cache, den ihr bei N 50° 42.(B*J+D*E*I) E 006° 12.(I*J*(A-G)-C+D) suchen dürft.

Nach reichlichem Genuss der schönen Aussicht am Cache geht's gemütlich weiter Richtung Parkplatz bzw. Bus.

A walk of about 7 km on paved pathways with nice distant views. Except for the last few meters to the cache it's suitable also for strollers and wheelchairs, presumed you have enough power to manage the altitude difference of about 80 m.

For answering the questions you definitly need the above picture with the animals. Some of the animals has to be assigned to the waypoints.

To prevent obscurities please read the following hints:

Takes care of the operator preceedence rules, i.e. "*", "/" before "+" and "-".
In case of one- or two-digit results you should pad the results with leading zeros to a three-digit number, e.g. 17 -> 017.

Let's go: You can park your car near the Venwegen cemetary at N 50° 42.808 E 006° 12.860. Alternatively you can take the AVV bus line 61, 67 or 68 up to the bus stop "Venwegen / Kirche (church)".

WP1: Near by the parking place at N 50° 42.809 E 006° 12.856 you'll find the hint for the first animal. You'll see only a small part of the animal. Search for the matching animal in the picture above and note down the number nearby the animal on the picture as "A".

Go on to WP2 at N 50° 42.(A*120+32) E 006° 12.(A*50+32). Looking around you'll detect a unique indication for the next animal. "B" is the animals' number on the picture and "C" is the number you cannot lose sight of on location. Hint: Indication for the animal and the number are closely connected.

At N 50° 42.(B*(C-2)) E 006° 12.(C-A-2) you reach WP3 where you can listen to and see a lot of lively animals. But there are also some dumb representatives of a similar species, custom made of clay. "D" is the number of the animal in the picture and "E" is the quantity of the animals on location.
This waypoint will be updated because the family living here has removed the doorbell panel showing 3 geese.

Now we come to one of the highlights for foreign visitors (sorry, just a joke). Midst of a picturesque ensemble of lovely figures at WP4 N 50° 42.(A*C*D+E*20+D) E 006° 11.(A*C*E+D*100) you'll see another animal serving as flower pot. On the picture this animal is labeled with "F".

The uphill path leads us to the strenuous part of the walk. By the wayside at WP5 N 50° 42.(E*E*F+A) E 006° 11.(E*E*F*F+C-8) the animal for number "G" is waiting for you.

At WP6 N 50° 41.(A*F*F+C+(G+1)*D) E 006° 11.(A*A*(2*B+E)) you can take a breather and search for the animal telling you "H".

On a sign near WP7 N 50° 41.((H+3)*32+B) E 006° 12.(A*B-C-F) there's written an advice for the animal "I". Sorry, for this one you have to know the German word for this animal.

A hint on the last wanted animal you'll find at WP8 N 50° 42.(F*I+B*E-D) E 006° 12.((A+C)*I-G). Knowing the animal you'll also know "J".

Well, now it isn't far to the cache which you may search at N 50° 42.(B*J+D*E*I) E 006° 12.(I*J*(A-G)-C+D). Good luck!

After enjoyment of the nice view near the cache you can walk on comfortable back to car or bus.
