13. POLEDNÍK
Práve ted se nacházíte na 13. poledníku východní zemepisné délky. Pro nás i pro Vás to není smula, ale štestí. Poledník je jen pomyslná cára, spojující oba póly Zeme. Je to výzva k poznání, prátelství a setkávání. A at jsou tu kameny symbolem zemí, jejich puvodu. 13. poledník má 25 kamenu. Mesto Stríbro se nachází asi 30 kilometru západne od Plzne na návrší vystupujícím z hlubokého údolí reky Mže. Hornická osada tu byla již pred 12. stoletím. První známá zmínka pochází z listiny Fridricha Premyslovce. Založení osady se ale datuje do roku 1131. Pred polovinou 13. století se osada prestehovala z údolí na skalnatý hreben. Duležitá byla nová pozice stezky z Prahy do Norimberku. Stríbro se zmenilo v královské mesto. Rostlo a stalo se duležitým. Na zacátku 15. století bylo 4. nejvetším královským mestem v Plzenském kraji. Stríbro melo okolo 300 domu a 2000 obyvatel. Nacházely se tu 3 kostely a 3 kláštery. Po obvodu historického jádra se zachovaly mestské hradby. V roce 1427 obléhali mesto križáci, kterí byli nakonec rozprášeni v bitve u Tachova. Stríbro je domovem 9000 obyvatel. Historické jádro mesta, které je vyhlášeno mestskou památkovou zónou, si zachovalo stredovekou poulicní sít. Prostor námestí je hodnotným mestským interiérem, mimorádne významná je renesancní radnice s prekrásnou sgrafitovou výzdobou fasády. Renesancní domovní portály vytvárejí ojedinelé architektonické seskupení. Seznam církevních památek obsahuje kostel Všech svatých po barokní premene, ale s puvodní gotickou veží, Hrbitovní kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie, Kostel sv. Petra a zríceninu kostela sv. Márí Magdalény. V prostorách minoritského kláštera je umísteno mestské muzeum. Krížová chodba, v severním krídle kláštera, je opravdový skvost. Keš: Levá lavička. Prostřední prkno. Spodní strana. The 13th Meridian
You are just staying on the 13th eastern Meridian. It is not a bad luck, it is good luck for us and for you too. The Meridian is only an abstract line connecting both Poles of the Earth. It is an appeal for understanding, friendship and meetings. And the stones should be here symbols of their original countries. The 13th Meridian has 25 stones. The town of Stríbro lies some 30 km west of Pilsen on an elevated plain above the deep valley of the river Mže. It was a silver mining settlement as early as in the 12th century. The first known mention of the place is by Fridrich the Premyslide, dated 1183. But the settlement may have been founded in 1131. Before the middle of the 13th century the settlement moved from the valley to the rocky ridge. The new strategic position was situated on the Prague - Nuremberg Route. Stríbro changed into a royal town. It grew, it was more important. At the begining of the 15th century it was the 4th largest royal town of the Pilsen region. Stríbro had around 300 houses and 2000 inhabitants. There were 3 churches and 3 monasteries in Stríbro. The circumference of the old town is made of well - preserved walls. In 1427, the town was bisieged by the crusaders who were then dispersed in the Battle of Tachov. Stríbro is a home of 9000 inhabitants. The protected historical core retained the medieval street network. The square is of extraordinary value, especially the outstanding Renaissance town hall with ravishing grafitti. The notable portals of the Renaissance houses form a unique architectonic group. The list of sacral monuments includes diaconian All Saints Church after baroque remodelling, but with an original Gothic tower; the cemeterial Virgin Mary Assumption Church; the St. Peter´ s Church and ruins of the St. Mary Magdalene´ s Church. The Minorite Monastery is partly occupied by the museum. The corridor of the Cross in the monastery´ s northern wing is a true gem. Cache: Left bench. Middle plank. Underside. Closer to meridian. Sie können sich im Park ausruhen, in er Nahe des Kinos, an der Plastik des 13. Meridians, der durch die Stadtmitte führt. Die Stadt Mies liegt etwa 30km westlich von Pilsen über dem Tal des Flusses Mies. Mies ist der älteste Fluss unserer Heimat. Für Mies war auch Bergbau von großer Bedeutung, nach dem die Stadt auch genannt wurde. Zur Zeit hat Mies etwa 9000 Einwohner. Der historische Stadtkern wurde zur Stadtdenkmabzone erklärt. Der Marktplatz der Stadt ist wertvoll. Mies ist ien wichtiges Zentrum des Fremdverkehrs in der Region, es gibt hier ein umfangreiches Sportgelände – Bowling, Squash und Tennis, viele Erholungsmöglichkeiten. Mies hat auch vier Kirchen – die Aller Heiligen Kirche, die Maria Himmelfahrt Fridhofskirche, die Sankt Peters Kirche, die Sankt Mariä Magdalen Kirche. Mies hatte drei Kloster. Zurzeit hat Mies ein Kloster – Das Minoritenkloster mit dem Kreuzgang und Museum. Es gibt hier viele Bürgerhäuser, das Renaissance Rathaus mit Sgraffiti und mit dem Gartenaltan und die Pestsäule mit der Marienstatue und 12 Statuen tschechischer Pestpatrone. In Mies sind die Stadtmauern und das Judentor, dass neben der Sonnenuht ist. Die Stadtmauern von Mies, die die Stadt schützen, hatten in der Vergangenheit 17 Bastien, bis heute blieb nur eine einzige erhalten – Hussiten Bastion.
