Bahnhof Mattenhof Kriens

Im Sommer 2004 wurde der Bahnhof im Zentrum von Kriens (N 47° 2.04367' E 8° 16.87617') durch Entfernen der Schienen endgültig seiner Aufgabe beraubt. Am 4.4.2004 fuhr der letzte Zug:

Kurz darauf im Dezember bekam Kriens den Bahnhof Mattenhof (Wikipedia). Dieser liegt jedoch 1.8 km vom Zentrum, so dass er für das Zentrum von Kriens verkehrstechnisch belanglos ist. Mangels Alternative ist er trotzdem der HB Kriens.

In summer 2004 the railway station in the center of kriens (N 47° 2.04367' E 8° 16.87617') got unusable by removing the rails. On the 4.4.2004 there was the last train. Shortly after, Kriens got a new railway station called Bahnhof Mattenhof (Wikipedia). It is placed 1.8 km from the center of Kriens, so it is traffic related completely irrelevant for the center. For lack of alternatives it is anyhow the main station.

Kein gefährliches Verhalten notwendig. No need for dangerous behavior.
