Geocache Description:

The dunes south of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles are too beautiful not to have a cache hidden amongst them, I said to myself in 2006.

But then, how do you hide a cache in the desert sand without it being lost for ever?!

Well, this cache you'll find under a young Tamarisk tree (Tamarix canariensis) out in the Dunas de Palomas where once the old shoreline was (see all the stones polished by the water).
When caching for this location, please watch out for lots of stark naked Muggels hiding under nearby trees or on the nearby dunes.

Thousands of people have managed to dig out this cache from its hiding place. Will you be the next one to find it? ( If you plan to visit this cache please bring a larger, "Standard sized" container and replace the present small petling with it )
