You will find parking for this cache across from Cannon Mountain's parking lot (exit 34C from 93) or at Echo Lake (but there is a fee). DO NOT park on the road they WILL ticket you!! Trailhead is on the northern side of the roadway. It's along the road, back towards the interstate from the parking, just North of the parking for Echo Lake.
There is a trailhead in the Cannon Mountain parking lot, however, that is for Bald Mountain, not Artist's Bluff. They do connect, but it is not necessary to go both to find Off the Bluff. The newly replaced cache is easier to find and closer to the actual bluff. Go just behind the bluff and at the broken tree, take the trail to the right. The cache is approximately 115'away. The trail is NOT very well defined.
This cache is located up a short, but steep hike (Artist's Bluff). Be sure to keep a close eye on the kiddies as there are steep ledges around (several of which are hidden by growth). The view is easily worth the hike. Sunset is especially nice :c) There is a connector trail (around the back) to Bald Mountain which is just as easy but steep in spots and gives a little different view. It's a loop that will lead you back to the Cannon Mountain parking lot.
