Geocache Description:

In honor of Zuma's birthday I have place a series of caches. The series consists of 7 sets of six part mystery caches (find 6 caches to get the 7th). Each set of caches will be located in an Eau Claire county park. You should be able to complete each set in less than 2 hours. In each mystery cache there will also be a clue to locate the "Ultra Mystery Cache". There is a total of 50 caches (we won't say how old Zuma is)! Clue "X" for Tower Ridge Mystery Cache.

One of fourteen caches I have placed in this park and I still am not doing it justice! Take some time and explore. I particularly enjoyed the wide variety of wildflowers growing here. Most caches are ammo cans, just a short distance from the paths. To finish this series you might take more than 2 hours, depending upon how fast you walk. You would have to figure that there would be at least 1 long hike, this is in honor of Zuma’s birthday after all!

TOWER RIDGE RECREATION AREA - Tower Ridge is the largest cross-country ski trail complex in both Eau Claire County and in west central Wisconsin. It is located on Eau Claire County forestland in the town of Seymour off CTH L. It has approximately 12 miles of trail with terrain of varying degrees of difficulty offering something for all levels of skiers. The ski trails include wooded, rolling terrain, and are groomed and tracked on the highest priority basis of the four ski trails offered by the county. The recreation area includes a Multi-Use Facility with flush toilets, additional pit toilets, approximately 3 km of lighted trails and a snowshoe trail adjacent to but separate from the lighted ski trails. Tower Ridge requires a ski pass, not a vehicle entrance pass, for skiing. Fees are $35 for an annual pass and $4 for a daily pass. Both daily and annual ski passes can be purchased on a self-served basis at the trailhead. Annual ski passes can also be purchased from the County Parks and Forest office in the Agriculture and Resource Center, 227 1ST STREET WEST, ALTOONA.
