Gummer's How is a magical place providing stunning views over the higher hills, with the silver ribbon of the Lake Windermere at your feet. A grand place to sit and watch the boats and the clouds. Easy access from the road to the south, and it can be busy on some days. Early or late in the day, or out of the main season and it's very peaceful. A mini-hill which is great for children to tackle.
