Boston Run Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

beirne: The rangers at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park removed the cache, leaving a nicely built wooden signboard with a not stapled to it explaining how bad geocaches are. You can always look for the sign, which a bit up the hill from the original location, but I don't know how long it will be there.

Geocache Description:

Difficulty: 3
Terrain: 3

The first stash in Ohio! The stash is hidden off of the Buckeye Trail, which circles the entire state. You can reach this portion from the Pine Lane Trailhead on Ohio Route 303 in Peninsula. You'll be climbing some hills on the trek, and there are a lot of roots in the trail, so wear good hiking boots. Its a really nice stretch of trail, though, with my favorite part being the log bridge over Boston Run.

I started the stash with some toys that were fun when I was a kid and are still fun today.

This is a revised writeup of the cache, though, and all of the original items are gone, replaced by an interesting collection of other items. The coordinates are now more accurate, being produced by a Geode GPS rather than my original Earthmate.
