Geocache Description:

Join us on July 24th - 26th for our 2nd Annual Campout at Cutthroat Bay in Lake Granby!

Attention Colorado Cachers: The sites are full in the Group Site Area. You are still welcome to attend the event, and we encourage all to (it's going to be a BLAST!). However, you must find your own accommodations. We have gathered the following campsite information and links for reservations. Make your reservations NOW! Believe me, with the excitement of a new GeoTour and the 100th anniversary of RMNP it is filling up fast! The Stillwater Campground, just across Cutthroat Bay and less than two miles away, CURRENTLY, has 58 campsites available for July 24th - 26th. Looking at the reservation site map for the campground on line, the available sites include Standard Electric, Standard Nonelectric, Tent Only Nonelectric, and some walk in sites. They even have an RV Dumping Station. There are also some sites on the other side of the lake (east side) at Arapahoe Bay. These sites are all non-electric with room to park your vehicle and/or set up a tent. There are 35 of these sites left. The next lake to the north (Shadow Mountain Reservoir) is closer to our campsite than Arapaho Bay. Their campsite is called Green Ridge and it is about 3 miles north of the Cutthroat Bay campground. If you'd like to reserve a site there, they have 38 non-electric sites (most have room for a vehicle and a tent) and 5 tent-only sites. Geocachers wanting to reserve camping sites can go to the links below, find the site(s) they want, and make their reservations right now.
