This is part of a Pi Day multi-event. Many event caches have been arranged on the same day across South Africa and the globe. This event cache is to take place at 9:26 in the morning. The relevance is that the number Pi (3.141592653) is represented by the date and time - March 14, 2015, 9:26.

A geocoin has been created for the event this year. The design takes into account a number of elements of Pi and it has a South African Sunset colouration. This is a limited edition coin.

For this specific event, we would like to make it a bring a pi(e) share a pi(e) event. A photo will be taken at 9:26:53am. (okay we might not get the seconds right but worth a try) The event itself will start at 9:00 and end at 11:00. Geocachers need to bring a blanket/ chair's and their pi(e) picnic, snacks and drink. No alcohol please. In your "will attend log" please will you let us know if you will be bringing a pi(e) and what pi(e) you will be bringing.

The coordinates are approximate so look out for the gathering of geocachers.
