Stop by with
or without the kids for a Halloween treat! Please post a "Will
Attend" if you are going to attend, and mention how many
adults/kids will be in your group so that we can plan
correctly. It is never too late to post a "will
attend"!
Stop by on
Halloween any time from 7:00 till 9:00 PM.
Coventry Hills is
in a great community to take the kids Trick-or-Treating. We are
house number 56. When you stop by, mention "The Event". If you are
coming without kids, you can just ring the door bell; no need to
yell "Trick-or-Treat".
We will have an
extra treat for the kids and a Geocaching colouring book, and hot
drinks for everyone (hot chocolate, coffee, and tea). Sign the
logbook, and stay for a quick chat. If it is a cold night, this is
a perfect chance to warm up!
Activities:
We will be having a Kids Costume Contest. All the
kids that are in costume will have their picture posted to the
event page. After the event, all attendees will be able to vote for
their favorite in their attended log. The winner will receive a
CachKinz trackable.
There will be apple bobbing and more for the kids.
Once again, WorldCaching.com has donated to this event. A
geocoin from WorldCaching.com will be awarded to a random adult in
attendance.
GeoWyrm's has also donated several items for
this years event. These items will be given away as prizes; 2
cool geocaches, a geocaching t-shirt, and a
CachKinz.
I will have print outs of a special cache for the
event. For those of you who may want to find this cache during
daylight or before the event, I will be posting the coordinates
here around noon of the 31. If you are wanting "Instant
Notification" to attempt to get the FTF, you can watch this
listing; I will post the coordinates as an announcement, so
watchers will get an e-mail.
Particulars:
At times parking
around here can be crowded (hopefully not tonight). I will have my
vehicles moved out of the driveway, so there will be available
parking there. Also, there are usually some spots across the
street.
I have not listed this as wheelchair accessible.
That said, I only have 3 stairs to my front door. If you are unable
to make it up the stairs, I would be glade give you a hand, or to
meet you outside.
If you plan to
attend, you should "watch" this listing so that you will receive
notification of any updates or changes.
