The Keepers of the Order of the BFL have returned for our sixth annual night caching event, held in North Halton.

This year, we are holding the event on Saturday, October 29.

We have an evening full of mischief planned, and we're sure you'll enjoy it.

About the Keepers of the Order of the BFL

The Keepers of the Order of the BFL, or "BFL Crew", are a group of geocachers who head out geocaching every Friday night - year round. We specialize in caching after dark, and we don't let the longer nights of winter slow down our caching adventures one bit. As winter gets near, we get together and host our annual night caching event - usually timed around the end of Daylight Savings Time.

Join us for an evening of mayhem as the BFL Crew prepares another round of fun after the sun goes down. We are following our usual format for the evening:

We gather at a local pub between 7:00 and 9:00, where we can share night caching tips, geocaching stories and get ready for the evening ahead. Afterward, you may choose to visit night themed caches in the area - perhaps with new geocaching friends!

The menu is the standard dinner menu the facility provides in their restaurant (no special changes for our group).

The pub is also an Inn, so it is possible to stay here after the pub or leave some family members here while you spend all night geocaching. That information will be available on the BFL Boot Camp VI Event Page.

This pub event runs from 7:00 to 9:00, and you must be present at this event to log an Attended.

Where is the event?

This year, we've got a bigger pub! We'll be taking over:

Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre, located on the northwest corner of Highway 401 and Guelph Line.
Of course since you have a GPS, the easy way to get here is to use the co-ordinates for the Event Cache.

After the pub, the BFL Crew moves to the Command Centre at the Hilton-Britton Crown Forest Complex northwest of Milton.

If you are caching after the pub, please do not carpool here.
There is a convenient carpool lot on the southwest corner of Highway 401/Guelph Line (see the child waypoint added to this listing)

In your will-attend log, please specify how many seats you need.

About the pub attendance/waiting list:

Attendees will be added in chronological order by "will-attend". Back dated "will-attends" will be disqualified from a spot at the pub. All BFL organizers have seats at the pub, whether or not they have logged a "Will Attend" - their attendance was confirmed when they signed up to organize the event.

I will list the pub attendees in this section as the spots are reserved. Do not email me to modify your pub attendance - post a will-attend here instead. If you are not on the list below, please do not "show up anyway" as this will overwhelm the pub.

Registration for this event will close on October 16, 2011. This the date I give our final numbers to the pub so they can plan their staffing levels accordingly.
