Geocache Description:

A pleasant stroll in Cleland Conservation Park with views to forever.

Letterboxing is a form of caching that dates back to 1854. Letterbox hybrids for those that don't know contain a stamp and a log book. The cache may also contain some small swaps. The idea is that you bring along your own stamp, and stamp the cache log book, then use the cache stamp to stamp your personel log book. The idea is to collect stamps from as many letterbox caches as you can. If you are not collecting stamps you can treat this as a normal cache, by signing the log book and making swaps as usual.

Make your way to the middle tower of the three TV towers on Mount Lofty. At the end of Owens St is the Attunga Track. Head north on the Attunga Track, and then follow the Attunga Track down the hill. Down, down you go. Past the crossing of the Nangare Track. Down the Attunga Track another 550m. Next crossing is the Chinaman’s Hut Track. Continue to proceed west on the Attunga Track. Midway between the Chinaman’s Hut Track crossing and the Saint Michael’s Spur turn you need to turn left into the scrub. Proceed another 45m south and you will be at the cache. If you are lucky you will see some native orchids and maybe a Koala or a Kangaroo.

There is a special Frog Mail Box stamp in the cache – please do not swap the stamp, as it is for letterboxers to stamp their own book.
