Within a day, the original stash had been found. Within days, more
stashes had been hidden in California, Kansas, and Illinois. Within
a month, a stash had been hidden as far away as Australia. The
hobby was fast on its way to being a worldwide phenomenon.
Presently, there are over one MILLION active geocaches around
the world, and a common bond between the 3-4 MILLION of us that
geocache!
In honor of the tenth year of MY favorite hobby, I'm inviting
everyone to come on out from 1pm until 4pm and enjoy an afternoon
celebrating at one of our favorite local spots. Spend time with old
friends that have been made through this great activity, and take
the time to make some new ones!
Scheduled activities:
1pm - 2:30pm ** Pick up a Geo-Bingo card when you sign the event
log and complete a Bingo! in order to be entered into a drawing for
a prize!
2:30 pm ** Group Photo (Thanks to XiaDog and wandering4cache for
the help!)
2:30 pm ** The Super-Happy-Birthday-Fun Giveaway will be held
DIRECTLY after the photo,so don't move!
