Geocache Description:

A walk of approx 4 miles that takes you from paved paths to seldom used tracks. This is our first series and we hope you enjoy discovering hidden parts to this park.

Boggart Hole Clough

An unspoilt, wooded ravine that runs through a north eastern inner suburb of Manchester. Boggart Hole Clough has a Green Flag Award, a scheme run by the Civic Trust designed to recognise and reward the best parks and open spaces in England and Wales for their landscape, environmental protection, cleanliness and maintenance standards. Covering an area of 190 acres, it is a valuable recreational area with several sports facilities, but if also offers the chance for quiet walks and picnics in semi-wilderness. Watch out in case the Boggart - a mischievous imp said to live here - nicks your butties.
