Geocache Description:

Kansas City ranks second in the world in number of fountains erected in the city. Only Rome, Italy, has more. This is one in the series of fountain caches honoring this distinction.

This fountain, erected in 1989, is dedicated to the first executive of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce who helped develop College Boulevard. The sculpture located within the fountain is by Overland Park artist Arlie Regier and is entitled "Pierced Sky".
