Die höchste Erhebung des Rheinbacher Waldes ist der Beuelskopf mit einer Höhe von 292 Metern ü.NN. Auf dem Gipfel des Berges steht eine Schutzhütte, die allen Besuchern frei zur Verfügung steht. Die Hütte verfügt über ein paar eingebaute Bänke und viel freier Fläche für Isomatten und Schlafsäcke. Über dem Eingang ist ein Schild mit Höhenmeterangabe angebracht.

Ursprünglich befand sich über der Hütte ein 16 Meter hoher Aussichtsturm, der im Sommer 2002 abgebrannt ist. Nur die Schutzhütte konnte erhalten werden. Heute sieht man nur noch die Fundamente des ehemaligen Turms an den Ecken der Hütte.
The highest elevation of the forest of Rheinbach is the Beuelskopf with a height of 292 meters ASL. At the top of the mountain there is a shelter, which is free for all visitors. The cabin has a few built-in benches and plenty of free space for mattresses and sleeping bags. Above the entrance is a sign with altitude indication attached.

Originally above the hut was a 16 meter high observation tower, which burnt down in the summer of 2002. Only the shelter could be preserved. Today you can only see the foundations of the former tower at the corners of the hut.
